Loysce Vance Lambird, 54, former resident of the Wakefield community and for the past few years a resident of Clay City, was found dead in his home yesterday about noon in Clay City.

Mr. Lambird was born the son of Vance Lambird and Luna (Pottorff) Lambird. He was a member of the Liberty Church at Wakefield, and had been engaged in oil field work for several years.

He leaves a wife, Eliza, and five children: Mrs. Wilbur (Shirley Ann) Brewer, Frank V. Lambird and wife Inga, Mrs. Dickie Joe (Mary) Miller, Mrs. Joseph Emery (Jeanette) Miller, and Mrs. Richard (Judith) Pflaum. There are five grandchildren: Grant Brewer, Kevin, Joey, Allen and Joanna Miller.

Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Luna Lambird of Noble, two brothers and a sister: G.L. Lambird of Dundas, Willard Gene Lambird and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Murbarger both of Noble. He has been preceded in death by his father and a son, Floyd Dean.

Funeral services for Mr. Lambird will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Sinclair officiating.

Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery near Clay City.
