Dominic Vincent Lamberti
POUGHKEEPSIE - Dominic Vincent Lamberti, a retired lithograph artist, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at his home in Poughkeepsie of natural causes. Born December 6, 1914 in Wappingers Falls, New York, he was the son of James and Rose(Orlando) Lamberti. He lived for over 45 years in Poughkeepsie and was employed by Western Publishing Company for over 40 years. Mr. Lamberti was a veteran of World War II serving in Africa and Hawaii. He was an artist and active in community woodcarving groups as well as the Barrett House. He enjoyed painting and mostly spending time with his grandchildren. He was married to Henrietta R. Rigolino for 55 years before she passed away. He was the brother of the late Anthony Lamberti as well as Daniel, James, and Louis Alfonso. He is survived by his daughter Donna, his son-in-law, Raymond Sepe of Medfield, MA, and three grandchildren Brandon, Courtney and Evan as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, May 12, at the Parmele-Auchmoody Funeral Home 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:45 am Wednesday, May 13, at Church of The Holy Trinity, 775 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery Poughkeepsie.
