Clara LAMBERTI, 78, 1420 Main St., died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 3, 1910 in Vienna, Austria, to Irvin and Clara LIEBECK FRIEDEWALD. She had lived in this country since 1929. She was maried May 1, 1929 in Boston, Mass., to Willie LAMBERTI, who died Sept. 12, 1987. She was a former performer for the Great Gretona High Wire Act in the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. Also, she and her husband had been part of a dance and vaudeville team performing at the Black Hawk Theater in Chicago. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Rochester Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Lorena LAMBERTI, Monticello; a son, Martin Cooper LAMBERTI, Cologne, Germany, and five grandchildren.
Services will be a 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Father Kenneth BOHLINGER officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before serices Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
