Marilyn Jeanine Connell, of Sedalia, MO died Feb 23, 2007, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.
She was born May 23, 1930, in Beatrice, NE, the daughter of Louis Gerald and Pansy Mae Sudarth Lamberti. In 1945, in Nebraska, she was married to Charles Edward Gepford, Jr, who preceded her in death on Apr 21, 1996. On Feb 17, 1965, in Freemont, NE, she was married to Oliver Davis Connell, who preceded her in death on Jun 19, 1984.
Mrs. Connell was raised and educated in Nebraska, and she attended State Fair Community College. She worked as a cook for State Fair Restaurant, Fairview Nursing Home and Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home. She enjoyed baking, shopping and camping. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a volunteer for Headstart and the Salvation Army. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Chuck Gepford and his wife Cynthian, of Sedalia; three daughters, Wanda Thiessen, of Bellevue, NE, Andrea Gepford, of Sedalia and Lillie Connell, of Sedalia; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother Larry Lamberti, and a sister, Myrna Spence.
