Daughter of the late Leonard and Virginia Baxter Lamb, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Edward Ange; her brothers, Carlton Lamb, Dolphus Lamb and Herbert Lamb; sisters, Idell Lamb Bagley and Irma Lamb Chesson. She was a retired lunchroom staff member with Martin County Schools. She was a member of Mount Olive Free Will Baptist Church. She was survived by her daughters, Margaret J. Simpson, Delorese A. Knott, Beatrice A. Sunden, Kathy A. Smithwick and Phyllis A. Coltrain; sons, Arthur K. Angle, Luther H. Ange, Herbert C. Ange, Leonard B. Ange and Phillip E. Angle; ister, Doris Lamb McNair; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and an an extended family of relatives. Her funeral was held September 19, 2009, with The Rev. Robert Travis officiating.
