THE DEATH OF AMBROSE LAKE
Mulberry, October 19 - Ambrose G. Lake, 83, retired farmer, died at 12:15 a.m. today at his home here, following an illness of four months. He was born at Stockwell, February 23, 1854, a son of Thomas and Jane (Campbell) Lake, and married Lucy Burns, March 24, 1886. With the exception of 15 years in Oklahoma, his entire life was spent in Clinton and Tippecanoe countries, and five years ago he moved to Mulberry. Surviving are the widow; a son, Ross, of Chicago; two brothers, Thomas and James Lake, of Elgin, Oklahoma, and a sister, Mrs. Harriet Holiday, Lafayette, route 5. The body was removed to the Kleinsmith funeral home.
