Mary L. Bollone, age 94, of Norway, Michigan, died May 23, 2006 at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford, MI.

The former Mary Lajeunesse was born on January 13, 1912 in Palatka, Michigan, the daughter of the late Prudent Lajeunesse and Marion (Rabitaille) Lajeunesse.

Mary married Peter Bollone on May 8, 1937 in Norway; he preceded her in death on March 19, 1970.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Royal Neighbors, Norway-Vulcan Senior Center and former member of Hall-DeWinter Post #145 Auxiliary, Anderson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Dickinson Co. Extension Club.

Mary enjoyed crafting, reading and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.

She loved cooking and baking for family and friends, especially her famous Pasties and Raviolis.

Mary Bollone was survived by her sons Robert (Brenda) Bollone of Norway and James (Kelley) Bollone of Faithorn; daughter Sharon (George) Pelkola of Marquette; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Edgar (Rose) Lajeunesse of Ashland, WI; sisters Virginia Bergwall of Niagara, WI and Cecila Lajeunesse of Iron Mountain; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her son Gerald Bollone, brothers Anton Lajeunesse, Fred Lajeunesse and Joseph Lajeunesse and sisters Frances, Mable and Sr. (Maude) Ursulina Lajeunesse.
