AUBURN – Nicole R. Lagasse 51 a resident of 32 Hampshire Street died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at her residence as a result of a house fire.
She was born in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, April 6, 1961, the daughter of Joseph and Gisele (Denis) Lagasse.
Nicole was a 1979 graduate of Lewiston High School. Following her education she became an office worker at Country Kitchen Bakery for 7 years. She then became a customer service representative for LL Bean for 23 years here in Lewiston where she was a faithful and dedicated worker.
She was an avid outdoors person who loved camping and fishing and Sunday football.
Besides her parents of Lewiston, she is survived by 2 sons, Ryan Lagasse and wife Stacey of Minot; and William Gayton of Lewiston. Four sisters, Dolores Robitaille of Lewiston, Jeannine Levesque and husband Leo of Lewiston, Anne-Marie Fitzler and husband, Michael of Wilminton, Massachusetts, and Dianne Durkin and husband Timothy of Plains, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Ethan Lagasse as well as her aunts and uncles in France and many nieces and nephews.
Also surviving was her "adopted son", John White of Lewiston.
