AUBURN — Nicole R. Lagasse, 51, a resident of 32 Hampshire St., died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at her residence as a result of a house fire.
She was born in Fort Leonardwood, Miss., April 6, 1961, the daughter of Joseph and Gisele Denis Lagasse.
Nicole was a 1979 graduate of Lewiston High School. Following her education, she became an office worker at Country Kitchen Bakery for seven years. She then became a customer service representative for LL Bean for 23 years here in Lewiston, where she was a faithful and dedicated worker.
She was an avid outdoors person who loved camping and fishing and Sunday football.
Besides her parents of Lewiston; she is survived by two sons, Ryan Lagasse and wife, Stacey of Minot, and William Gayton of Lewiston; four sisters, Dolores Robitaille of Lewiston, Jeannine Levesque and husband, Leo of Lewiston, Anne-Marie Fitzler and husband, Michael of Wilminton, Mass., and Dianne Durkin and husband, Timothy of Plains, Pa.; one grandson, Ethan Lagasse; as well as her aunts and uncles in France; and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her "adopted son," John White of Lewiston
