BIDDEFORD - Jeanne L. Carrier, 78, of Elm Street, died Sunday at Southern Maine Medical Center. She was born January 20, 1922 in Biddeford, a daughter of Emile and Rose Courchesne Lacourse and attended Biddeford schools. In March of 1946, she married George J. Carrier in St. Andre's Church in Biddeford. Mrs. Carrier worked over 40 years with Pepperell Mfg. Company and Biddeford Textile Corporation, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Surviving are her husband of 53 years; two daughters, Rose Lantagne of Woburn, Mass., and Lynn Gordon of Biddeford; three sisters, Vivian MacDonald, Irene Bowers and Pauline Lacourse, all of Biddeford; three grandchildren, a great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
