Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday at the Shea-Williams Funeral Home in Mystic, Conn., for Mrs. Emelina LaPierre Boivin, 84, formerly of Bennington, who died Thursday evening at Beechwood Convalescent Home in New London, Conn., after a long illness.
Mrs. Boivin was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church while residing in Bennington, and for the last six years she had made her home with her son, Alfred, of 20 Russell St., Mystic.
Born Sept 20, 1892 in New Market, N.H., to the late George and Adele (Lebrun) Lacasse, she married Maurice St. Pierre, who died many years ago, and later married Gaudeales Joseph Boivin, who died Dec 11, 1968.
In addition to her son, she leaves two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
No calling hours are scheduled at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery vault, Bennington, pending burial in the spring.
