Fannie Hutchinson, age 68 and a resident of Independence, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at her home.

She loved spending time in her yard tending to her flowers and watching the hummingbirds, but above all else she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Fannie leaves behind her husband, Lloyd “Sonny” Hutchinson; daughters, Dawn Sinagra and husband Joe and Teresa “Renee” Cooper; sons, Mark Cooper and wife Renee and Bryan Cooper and wife Melissa; sisters, Sannie Latino, Mary Ann Bonfiglio, Vicki Glascock, and Phyne Abels; and brothers, Anthony “Tony” Lamonte, and Joseph “Joey” Lamonte. She is also survived by her bestfriend, Bethany “Cookie” Hodges; grandchildren, Joey, Kodi, Michael, Jonathan, Catherine, Chryssa, and Bryan II; and great-grandchildren, Allen, Garrett, Eli, Kaydence, and Lain.

Preceding Fannie in death were her parents, Joe and Mary Restivo Lamonte; first husband, Ray Cooper; brother, Joseph D. Lamonte; sister, Christine Gagliano; and aunt, Annie Restivo.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Monday, September 1st, 2014; from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Services will continue Tuesday, September 2nd, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Don Bassett will officiate the services and interment will follow in Natalbany Cemetery.
