EDWIN LUTZKE
Edwin E. Lutzke, 71, of 1302 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died early Monday morning at his home following a five months illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Lutzke was born March 14, 1892, in the Town of Liberty, son of the late William and Minnie Luebke Lutzke. He married Henrietta Mahnke May 2, 1925, at Manitowoc. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Carpenters and Jointers Local 849.
Among survivors are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Sonnenburg and Mrs. Amanda Commings, of Manitowoc and a brother, Arthur, of the Town of Liberty. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be moved to the church and the body will lie in state until time of service.
