Lutzke
Mrs. August W. Lutzke, 86, former Manitowoc resident, died Friday at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc. Since 1959 she had lived with a son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Markwardt, Sturgeon Bay.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schiel Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. N. Kock will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Lutzke, nee Hattie Williams, was born May 28, 1882, in the Town of Eaton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson E. Williams. She was married to August Lutzke Nov. 5, 1902, in the Town of Liberty and the couple farmed in the Town of Eaton until 1923 and then moved to Manitowoc. Her husband died in 1936.
Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Modella) Markwardt; two sons, August C. of Paris, Ill., and Harold of Tinley Park Ill., nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday.
