Milton E. Ludwig, 71, of 2202A Washington St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 30, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arthur H. Wille will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Ludwig was born Dec. 31, 1910, at Manitowoc, son of the late John E. and Amelia Wagner Ludwig. He was a veteran of United States Army serving during World War II in 32nd Division, 128th Infantry, Company E, overseas in the South Pacific. He had been employed by Cemetery and Parks Division of the City of Manitowoc, retiring in 1963.
Survivors include a brother, Kenneth C. Ludwig Sr., of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Kaminski, Mrs. John (Igna) Mix, Mrs William (Erna) Raih, and Mrs. Clinton (Marcella) Gilmore of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John F. Ludwig and a nephew, Roger Raih.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday, and at the church from noon until the time of services.
