Mr. John Edward Kyser 'Shipyard'--Born October 9, 1935, a native and resident of Mobile, AL departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2003. He was a retired veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lillie Bell Kyser; one son, Charles Jackson; three brothers and one sister. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Bessie Kyser; six daughters, Lorraine (Earl) Sylvester of Mobile, AL, Mattie Jackson of Cleveland, OH, Clauzell McCall, Vivian Westry, Regina Taylor and Jacqueline Taylor; two sons, Charlie Westry, Jr. and Bunires (Cheryl) Taylor all of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, David Kyser, Sr. of Mobile, AL and William Kyser of Brooklyn, NY; one daughter-in-law, LaVita Jackson; father and mother-in-law, Mallie and Beatrice Jackson all of Cleveland, OH; five sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; twenty three grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2003 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral hour at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, 1350 Chinquapin St., Mobile, AL with Rev. J.D.
