Birth: Mar. 4, 1934
Death: Feb. 9, 2011

Louise Daywood Kyle was born in Austin, Texas on the 4th of March, 1934 and passed away on the 9th of February, 2011. Louise grew up in Austin as a first-generation American to parents who emigrated from Lebanon. Her youth was spent in and around downtown Austin, where her family's business was a grocery store on 6th Street. She graduated from Austin High School and attended Nixon-Clay Business College. She married Douglas Edward Kyle in 1962, and lost the love of her life when he preceded her in death in July 2010. She worked for the Texas Health Department for 20 years, taking a break during that time to devote herself to establishing an ideal family for her husband and children. Louise is survived by her son, Doug Kyle and wife, Ashley; her daughter, Kelli Kyle Dominguez and husband, George; and Kim Kyle; her grandchildren, Travis, Jessica and Madison Kyle; Kailey, Marissa and Christian Dominguez; Anton and Holden Kyle-Kuess. She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Daywood and wife, Katie; Philip Daywood and wife, Sharon; Morris Daywood and wife, Millie; and Mary, widow of David Daywood; as well as many nieces and nephews. Louise will be missed tremendously by all who knew her. She was full of grace and humility, and ever valiant and uncomplaining in her 31-year fight against cancer. Her strength of character was an inspiration to her children and all who knew her. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening on Sunday, the 13th of February at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. The recitation of the Rosary will begin at seven o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 14th of February at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park. Condolences may be made at
