CATHERINE JANE LANE
Catherine Jane Lane, widow of the late James Lane, died at her home on Owego street, Tuesday, June 1, 1937, aged 86 years.
Mrs. Lane was practically a life long resident of the town of Candor having spent a good many years of her childhood on Anderson Hill. She was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Kyle and was born Sept. 22, 1850.
She is survived by one son, Lewis Lane, of Candor, and two daughters, Mrs. R. E. Warner of Candor and Mrs. F. B. Hamilton, of Park Ridge, Ill; five grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in this village of which she had been a life long member, Friday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. Norman Campbell officiating. Burial will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery.
