"NEPHEW FOLLOWS WOMAN IN DEATH
Charles Kyger, of Grape Creek, Dies 18 Hours After Aunt's Demise
.Following close upon the death of his aunt, Miss Terrisa Kyger, better known as "Aunt" Terrisa Kyger, which occurred at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, Charles F. Kyger, 67, nephew of Aunt Terrisa, died at 4 o'clock Wednesday morning, 18 hours after her death.
.
He had been ill for almost a year of heart trouble and the shock of the death of Miss Kyger is believed to have been responsible for his demise. Both had been residents of Grape Creek all of their lives. Mr. Kyger was the son of Franklin and Mary Kyger and was an orphan for the greatest part of his life. He was adopted by his aunt when a boy and had made his home with her for his entire life.
.
Neither Miss Kyger or her nephew had ever married. He was a carpenter by trade. The only surviving relatives are Mrs. John Madden, of Georgetown, Mrs. Eveline Coil, of Potomac, Mrs. James Hutchinson of New Goshen, Ind., Mrs. Jess Kyger, of Ridgefarm, and W. H. Kyger of Perrysville, Ind. All of the immediate family are dead and these relatives are cousins, nieces and nephews.
.
The body of Mr. Kyger was removed to the Edmund and Dickson funeral home here to await burial. The funeral of Mr. Kyger and Miss Kyger will be a double one and will be held from the Baptist church of Grape Creek with the Rev. Minnie Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Parrish cemetery."
