Memorial services were Tuesday, May 28 at trinity Lutheran Church for Brenda L. Bice, 31 of Fremont who died May 23, 1991 at her home from cancer. Rev. Glenn Kailhoff of Denver and Rev. Don Levenhugen officiated. Her cremated remains are at rest in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.
Brenda L. Kuss Bice was born June 28, 1959 in Fremont. She grew up in the Fremont area and attended Trinity Lutheran School, graduating from Fremont High School in 1977.
She married Charles Brice August 20, 1977.
She worked at First National Bank from 1978-1983 and was head teller at American National Bank from 1983-1985. After 1985 she was head cashier and officer of First United Bank of Bellevue in Bellevue. She was co-owner Kids Kollections in Fremont at the time of her death.
She was a member of the Education Advisory committee for Bellevue Public School Board and the Fashion Show Chairwoman for the 1990 John C. Fremont Days.
She was currently a counselor for the Cancer Reach to Recovery program. She had recently been selected nationally as an Outstanding Young Woman of American, 1991.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and ex-husband Charles Bice and one aunt.
She is survived by her parents, Gerald and Florence Kuss of Denver, a brother, Dan Kuss and his wife Sharon of Holdrege, Nebraska and her grandmother Mildred Kuss of Denver.
Ludvigen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of services.
