Alice Regenos Kurtz

Mrs. Alice Regenos Kurtz died Saturday, April 3, 1943, at 5 a.m. at her home, one mile east of Harrison Center Church. Mrs. Kurtz had been in ill health for the past six years, but death was a result of uremic poisoning which followed a broken hip, sustained last August. She was born in Stark County, OH, Dec 19,1866, she was united in marriage to John Kurtz, Dec 2,1890 and spent her entire married life in Harrison township. The deceased was a member of the Fairview United Brethren Church.
Surviving relatives include the husband; four sons: Roy Kurtz, Renton WA, Charles and Herschel Kurtz, of Warsaw IN, Ancil Kurtz of Mishawaka IN; two daughters: Mrs Blanche Cox of Mishawaka IN, and Mrs Flossie Foreman of Warsaw; one brother, Charles Regenos of Claypool IN; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Palestine church Monday at 2 p.m. with the Reverend John Jones officiating. Burial will be made in Palestine cemetery. The body will remain at the Haworth & Bilby funeral home where friends may call from Sunday morning until the time of the service.
