Birth: Nov. 23, 1909
Milwaukee County
Wisconsin, USA
Death: Sep. 30, 2007

Dorothy M. Kuphall. Her prayers to go to her Eternal home and be with all the people she loved who went before her have been answered as she passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 30, 2007, at Hospitality Manor in Kenosha at age 97. She was born Nov. 23, 1909, in Milwaukee to William and Margaret (nee Gehl) Montag. On Sept. 17, 1932, she married Armin L. Kuphall in Milwaukee, living there until Armin's passing in 1977 at which time she moved to an apartment in Milwaukee and was there for another 15 years. Dorothy then moved into her grand-daughter Suzanne and husband Richard's home in Burlington and lived there and eventually alternated living there and with her daughter in Kenosha, sadly a victim of Alzheimer's disease. Dorothy was an excellent seamstress, loved gardening, crocheting, traveling, table games and was an avid card player! Survivors include her daughter, Beverly "Bonnie" (Lawrence) Butschli of Kenosha; her grandchildren, James Armin (Peggy) Butschli of Kenosha, Suzanne (Richard) Grueter of Burlington and Julianne (Thomas) White of Twin Lakes; her great-grandchildren, Lauren, Brittany and Cassandra Butschli, Kaitlyn, Melissa and Benjamin Grueter and Kristy, Thomas Jr., Kimberly and Courtney White; as well as many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly. Dorothy was the last surviving member of her family, having been preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edwin and Raymond and sisters, Rose, Arline and Erma as well as having been preceded in death by her husband, his parents and his ten brothers and sisters. Our entire family will be forever greatful for the wonderful, constant and loving care our mother received from all of the staff at Hospitality Manor. Friends and family will gather at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., for visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. until time of Services at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospitality Manor, 8633 32nd Ave., Kenosha, Wis., 53143 would be appreciated. Jelacic Funeral Home Serving the Family Ph. 1-414-466-2134
