She was born April 2, 1927. She was raised in Huntley and then moved to Crystal Lake when she married her husband, Lyle, on Jan. 31, 1948.
She worked for Knaack Manufacturing as a bookkeeper for 30 years. After retiring from Knaack, she volunteered at the Bethesda thrift shop for 17 years. She loved golfing and bowling. She adored her family and always was willing to help them when needed.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Kathy (Don) Rammien, Donna (Don) Kopsell and Karen Conrad; her loving grandchildren, Brian Rammien and Janet (Chris Lucas) Rammien, Dan (Meaghan) Kopsell, Jennifer Kopsell, Julie (Mike) Conrad Scholl and Gregory Conrad; and her cherished great-grandchild, Madelyn Kopsell.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lyle Freund; and her parents, Arthur and Alma Kunke.
