Born April 4, 1912, in Warren, Ill, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frederick Kuhl. Lived seven years in Loves Park, coming from Rockford in 1949. She left Warren in 1943 for Rockford. Married to Lloyd Bowers in Freeport Nov 7, 1931. Member of Warren, Ill, Baptist church. Survivors include: her husband, Lloyd; two daughters, Darlene Crozier at home, and Mrs Norma Jean Carey, Loves Park; three grandchildren, her parents, Mr and Mrs Frederick Kuhl, Warren; two brothers, Clarence Kuhl, Stockton, and Ralph Kuhl, Lena; and four sisters, Mrs Ellsworth Lawrence, Mrs Herman Krippendorf, and Mrs Eugene Flowen, all of Warren, and Mrs Alvin Broge, Apple River.
