Marve Lorraine was born to Jacob and Amelia (Morast) Kuebler in Chicago, Illinois. For sometime before her marriage she worked as a stenographer at an advertising agency. She married Lynn E. Bartlett, of Forsyth, Macon Co., Illinois. He was a veteran of WWI. After their marriage, the couple moved to Lake Geneva City in Walworth Co., Wisconsin where they owned and operated a steam laundry. They had no children.
Later in life, Marve moved to San Diego County to be near her siblings who resided near Escondido. She was an office supervisor for many years at the historic Hotel Del Coronado.
Marve's four siblings preceded her in death. She died at the Redwood Terrace Health Center in San Diego. Her remains were cremated at the Greenwood Crematory.
