son of the late Frederick and Annie (Obropta) Kruse and had lived in Avon all his life.
Mr. Kruse was an accountant for Ensign-Bickford Company in Simsbury for 43 years prior to his retirement in 1985 and the first recipient of the Ensign-Bickford. Foundation Award. He was a member of the Church of Saint Ann, Avon, the Avon Volunteer Fire Department, Avon Senior Center, AARP, Chapter 790 of Farmington Valley and the Canton Golf Club.
predeceased by three brothers, Frederick Kruse, Herman Kruse and Paul Kruse; and a sister, Evelyn Greska
