John Kruse and Miss Dora Probst were married Friday, April 28, by Rev. J. Lehmann at the home of the groom's mother, Mrs. Fred Kruse, in the presence of the relatives and a few intimate friends of the young couple. The happy young couple will go to housekeeping on his mother's farm. We join their many friends in whiching them much joy and happiness.

Mrs. Dora Kruse of Cook, who had been in failing health several years and who had been hospitalized in Tecumseh since October 28 of this year, died in Johnson County hospital, Tecumseh, Saturday, Dec. 18, 1965, at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Dora, daughter of Adolph Kruse, was born July 31, 1883 in Germany. She was baptized Sept. 24, 1883 in her home church, and was also confirmed there April 2, 1898.
In 1901 she came to Nebraska and made her home at Lorton in Otoe county. On April 28, 1905 she was married to John Kruse of Cook, and the couple made their home on a farm northwest of Cook until they retired and moved to Cook in 1938. Mr. Kruse died January 17, 1945.
Mrs. Kruse was a very active person, and was interested in the welfare of relatives and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ near Cook, and an honorary member of the Women's Fellowship.
