Mrs. Lydia Hersh
Mrs. Lydia Augusta Krumme Hersh, 76, died Monday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Richards, route 4. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan county, and had lived most of her life in St. Joseph. Her home was at 1207 South 23rd street.
Mrs. Hersh was a member of the Agency Methodist Church, Agency, Mo., and of the Agency chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Hersh is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Juanita Norris and Mrs. Mary Richards, both of Reno, Nev.; three sons, Edgar Hersh, Spokane, Wash.; Walter Hersh, Waterloo, Iowa; and Merle Hersh, St. Joseph; four brothers, Arthur Krumme, Los Angeles, Cal.; George Krumme, Faucett, Mo.; and Austin and Milton Krumme, both of St. Joseph; 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary.

Services for Mes. Lydia Augusta Krumme Hersh will be at 3 Friday in the chapel of the Heaton-Bowman mortuary. The Rev. Walter Steele will officiate, and interment will be at Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. Hersh died Monday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Richards, rural route No. 3, with whom she had lived for four years. She was 76 years old.
