Attractive, athletic actress of early silent films. Adrienne grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, attending Yeatman High School where she was active in sporting and academic activities. After winning a beauty contest, Miss Kroell decided to try her luck on stage. Following several years of touring with various stock companies, she made her film debut in 1909 with the old Selig Studios. She would make dozens of short films for the company including "The Two Orphans"(1911), "The Law of the North" (1912), "The Pink Opera Cloak" (1913), and "The Bond of Love" (1914). Adrienne appears to have been in a near fatal train wreck in January of 1915. Apparently, she was too messed up to work. When her injuries led to rheumatoid arthritis, a comeback was out of the question. She died, unmarried, at Sturgis Convelescent Home in suburban Evanston, Illinois.
