Joyce Krediet was born to Jacob and Bertha DeWaard on April 25, 1925 on a farm near Stickney, S.D. She passed away at the age of 50 years and 7 months after a brief illness.

She was baptized and made her public profession of faith in Jesus Christ in the Christian Reformed Church of Harrison, S.D. She remained a faithful member of the church until her death.

On January 10, 1945 she was united in marriage to Herman Krediet and remained a faithful and loving wife and mother until her death.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and one infant sister.

She leaves to mourn her husband Herman and 4 children. Lowell and Kathy of Sioux City, Ia. Norman and Diane of Mankato, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Muriel) Namminga of Tyndall, S.D. and Kay at home. Six grandchildren, Shiela, Vonda, Johnnie and Monica Krediet, Mark Otos and Christine Namminga. Two brothers, Walter and Corstiaan DeWaard. Four sisters, Mrs. Verlin (Eunice) VanderWerff, Mrs. Evert (Wilamy) DeVries, Mrs. Royce (Phyllis) VanZee and Mrs. Roy (Ada Lucille) Scholten.
