Sylvia K. Gordon, 83, formerly of Bettendorf, died Friday, April 30, 1999, at her home in Chevy Chase, Md.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial is in Mount Nebo Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
She married Jacob J. Gordon in 1936 in Philadelphia. He died in 1989.
She was a member of Temple Emanuel and the Rock Island Arsenal Country Club.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Robert Gordon, Bethesda, Md.; granddaughters, Kimberly and Hayley; a sister, Claire Baker, North Miami Beach, Fla.; and a brother, Paul Kraft, Coconut Creek, Fla. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
