Doris Evelyn Kraft, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, in Herrin Hospital. She was a librarian by occupation. She was born Sept. 17, 1924, to Floyd and Grace (Wise) Davis. She married Kenneth Stegall, and he preceded her in death. She then married George Kraft, and he also preceded her in death. Survivors include, children, Kenneth II and Geraldine Stegall of Sesser; grandchildren, Keith Rogers of Las Vegas, Kenneth Stegall III of Sesser, Kimberly Carleton of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Tammi Harle of Christopher; several great-grandchildren; and nieces; and nephews; sister, Dorothy Woody of Decatur, Ga.; brothers-in-law, Lyman and wife, Virginia Kraft, of New Braunfels, Texas, and Robert Dingeldeim of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; first and second husbands; one daughter, Sally (Kraft) Arenas; and one son, David Kraft. Interment will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser.
