Glenavon Baugh, 79, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements. 641-648-2569

Glenavon Joan Korth was born October 31, 1935 at her parents home in Hardin County, Iowa, the daughter of Glen Willard and Loretta Veda [Wheeler] Korth. She graduated from the Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa with the class of 1954. On May 31, 1955, Glenavon was united in marriage to Voy Dell Baugh in Council Bluffs. To this union four children were born: Glenda, Bonnie,
Gary, and Rickey. Glenavon was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved playing Bingo, the Lottery, Coffeeing, and being with family. She was a former member of the Church of the Open Bible, Iowa Falls.

Glenavon Baugh is survived by her children: Glenda [Jack] Brass of Iowa Falls, Bonnie Mitterer of Iowa Falls, Rickey [Thresa] Baugh of Iowa Falls; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister: Laura Hight of St. Ignatius, Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents: Glen and Loretta Korth; her husband: Voy Baugh; a son Gary Baugh; a son-in-law: Richard Mitterer; a brother-in-law: Roy Hight, and several nieces and nephews.
