Kathryn K. Geiman, 86, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at 7:50 p.m.
She was the wife of Edward B. Geiman, who died March 30, 2005. They were married for 65 years. Born November 15, 1920, in Westminster, Md., she was the daughter of the late Horace C. and Virgie K. (Warehime) Koontz.
She was a 1938 graduate of Littlestown High School. She was a member of Redeemer's U.C.C., Littlestown, where she served on the church council and on various committees, the Ladies Aid, and Prayer Chain. She was also a member of NARFE; Hanover chapter of OES; the VFW Auxiliary 6954, Littlestown; Moose Auxiliary Lodge 227 Hanover; American Legion Auxiliary Post 14, Hanover; and the Littlestown Garden Club.
Mrs. Geiman was employed as a bookkeeper/secretary in several businesses in Littlestown and Hanover. She retired in 1990 from the Gettysburg Post Office, where she served as Rural Mail Letter Carrier.
She is survived by her son, Edward B. Geiman, II; grandson, Steven E. Geiman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul C. Koontz.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Redeemer's U.C.C. in Littlestown with the Rev. James A. Martin officiating. Auer Memorial Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Harrisburg, is handling the arrangements.
