Leola Pauline Kinnaman of Bloomington passed away Wednesday April 15, 2009, at her residence. She was 94 years old.
Leola was born October 16, 1914, in Bloomington to James Thurman and Nora Alice Thrasher Koontz.
A graduate of Bloomington High School, she spent her professional career in various positions at Bloomington National Bank for over 40 years.
Leola and her husband, Ermel, were Charter Members of the West 2nd Street Church of Christ.
Leola leaves behind daughter, Sharon Newton and her husband Charlie of Bloomington; son, James Kinnaman and his wife Patsy of Bloomington; grandsons, Andy Brown and his wife Rita, John Kinnaman, Kyle Kinnaman and his wife Aubrey, Kurt Kinnaman; granddaughters, Kim Hamm and her husband Max and Sherri Summitt and her husband Perry. She leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren as well.
Leola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ermel; and a sister, Martha Fox.
Funeral services for Leola will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old Highway 37.
