ALICE KONITZER

Alice L. Konitzer, age 68, of 1218 School St., Two Rivers, died Monday evening,
February 19, 1996, at her residence.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 23, 1996, at St. Mark's
Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Larry Seidl will officiate with burial at Holy
Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born July 22, 1927, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late John and Catherine
Gross Bieker. She was educated in the Two Rivers School District. Alice married
Andrew Konitzer, February 10, 1945, in Bremerton, Wash. The couple celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary February 10, 1995. They resided for 14 years in Clearwater,
Fla. where she was a store manager for 12 years. Alice was a member of the St.
Mark's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew, Two Rivers; six sons, Richard Konitzer,
Manitowoc, and his special friend, Mary Lee Mullins, Manitowoc, Andrew Jr. and
Joan Konitzer, Jim Konitzer, all of Manitowoc, and his special friend, Patsy
Sampe, Two Rivers, Eugene and Phyllis Konitzer, Riverview, Fla., Michael and Mary
Konitzer, David and Linda Konitzer, all of Two Rivers; three daughters, Sue and
Daniel McKenna, Debbie and Daniel Kleckner, all of Mishicot, Mary Konitzer, Two
Rivers, and her special friend, Bob Schmidt, Two Rivers; 22 grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; three brothers, clarence and Marion Bieker, Nashville, Tenn.,
Alfred Bieker, Manitowoc, Alvin Bieker, Texas; two sisters, Mary Brull and Miss
Lucille Bieker, both of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Joseph and three
brothers.
Friends may greet the family at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time
of service at 10 a.m.
The Jens Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
