Born Aug. 22, 1905, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Adam E. and Laura (Smith) Kohr.
She graduated from Hanover High School in 1923, and was a member of the Hanover High School Alumni Association. She successfully completed a course in blueprint reading at the Hanover National Defense Training School in 1942. She was employed by Montgomery Ward Department Store, formerly of Hanover. She was a department manager for approximately 20 years.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy L. Veasey of Narberth; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Ann Ryan; two brothers, E. Lane Kohr and John Kohr, and two sisters, Joyce Kohr and Miriam Miller.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Private graveside services will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. The Rev. Scott Brown will officiate. There will be no viewing. Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, is in charge of the arrangements.
