Julianna Chevalier, 68, of Springfield died at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1924, in Springfield, the daughter of Wenzel and Gisella Blahofski Kohlrus. She married Rene Chevalier in 1944. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Gisella Chrans and Isabelle Johnson, and a brother, Wenzel Kohlrus.
Mrs. Chevalier had been a lifelong resident of Springfield, and was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband, Rene; a daughter, Renee Chevalier of Springfield; five sons, Danny L., Randy R. and Terry A., all of Springfield, Ricky J. of Langleyville, and Rodney B. of Carlinville; 10 grandchildren; an aunt; an uncle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass at St. Francis Cabrini Church, with the Rev. David Schauer officiating. Burial in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
