Katherine K. Taylor, 81, of Cameron, died Monday, May 18, 2015, in a Cameron nursing center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Oak Hill Pavilion with Chaplain Bruce Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Katherine was born in Cameron, Texas, to the late Otto and Lorraine (Sypert) Koenig. She was married to Bobby Dean Taylor. Katherine was an antique dealer and flea market owner.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy; and a daughter, Doris.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby, of Cameron; sons: Whitey Grimes, of Cameron, Don Allen Taylor, of Houston, and Bobby Dean Taylor, Jr, of Cameron; daughter, Linda Schwerin, of Michigan; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Otto Koenig, of Groesbeck, Jodie Koenig, of Cameron, and
Lester Koenig, of Marque; sisters, Clara Martin, of Bastrop, and Shirley Dach, of Cameron; other relatives and many friends.
