George married Evalyn Armstrong, who was then a teacher in the Geneva elementary school, on June 7, 1934. The bride’s home was Lincoln. This marriage was blessed with three children, Lynn, Richard, and Alice Louise.

He was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was ever a source of pride and enjoyment and he took great satisfaction in their achievements and successes. His grandchildren were a source of great enjoyment to him and he always had time to play with them. He will be very much missed by them, as well as by a host of friends.
