Bill Knost Born October 2, 1919 in Portsmouth, OH to Mary and Jacob. He served as a postal specialist in the Army-Air Corps. Following his discharge, he began a career with the U.S. Post Office and retired after forty years. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Sarah in 1996, parents and brother Phillip. He is survived by his daughters, Serena (Robert) of Tucson, Mary (Jim) of Deming; grandchildren, Christy of Pensacola, Richard of Chicago; companion, Millie; brother, Paul of Tucson; sister, Eloise of OH and many other family members and friends. Bill's interests were antique cars and gardening at the U of A Extension, where he became a master gardener. He also enjoyed working with professional organizations and clubs such as National Assn. of Letter Carriers and National Assn. of Federal Employees and Gardener's of Tucson. He was very active in the Local Elks Lodge #385 in Tucson. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at South Lawn Cemetery.
