Juanita Benge Knost, "Ms. Nita" "Momma Nita" "Mom" "Granny" "Grandma" "Nita Pearl" died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge. She was 72, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Duquesne, Mo.

Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jayne Knost Snyder and Karla Knost and Barney Luttrell, all of Denham Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. James A. and Debbie Knost, Peoria, Ill., and Tom and Sandy Knost, Clinton; two sisters, Jerry Carter, St. Louis, and Imogene Bradley, Joplin, Mo.; grandchildren, Stephanie Suggs, Angela Sunde, Denvil Snyder Jr., Jay Knost, Matt Knost, Megan Knost, Bryan Knost, Becky Bokun, Heather Hebert, Carmen Knost, Paige Luttrell, Casey Luttrell and Joey Luttrell; and great-grandchildren, Stephen, Spencer and Sterling Suggs, Austin and Brooke Sunde, Berkley Knost and Hudson and Gabriel Knost.

Preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Parker.

She was a founding member of Riverside Baptist Church, Watson. Memorial donations may be made to Riverside Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2256, Denham Springs, LA 70727.
