Lora was born to William Robert Knight and Kathryn Kate Halman Knight. Lora is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jewel Mills; son-in-law, Lloyd Laperouse; grandsons, Jeffery Laperouse and Jason Knight; and great grandson, Erik Lande. She is survived by daughters, Alice Laperouse of Stafford, Texas, Ann Scanlin and husband, Bill, of Richmond, Texas, Agnes Renfrow and husband, Bob, of Pearland, Texas, Alta James and husband, Stanley, of Fresno, Texas, and Aileene Knight and husband, Ralph, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; along with other family members and many friends.
