Bud Knight, a resident of Sulphur was born February 15, 1918 in Ashland, Oklahoma to George W. and Mary L.(Burnett) Knight. He passed away Thursday December 2, 2010 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years 9 months and 17 days.
Bud had lived in this area all his life; working as a welder and retiring from Sooner Rock and Sand. He and Myrtle West were married on June 8, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on June 27, 1997.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Mary Sue Boatman; 1 brother: Everett Knight, and 3 sisters: Jane Billings, Minnie Baumgardner, and Vernie Lee.
Survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Linda K. & Bill Brush of Redding, California, 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Billy G. & Mary Knight of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tony & Sandy Knight of Sulphur, Oklahoma, brother & sister-inlaw, Clarence "Shine" & Sharon Knight of Sulphur, Oklahoma and 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Services: Monday December 6 at 10:00AM in the DeArman's Clagg Funeral Chapel with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
