Dawnetta S. "Sue" Fike, 55, of 4387 Back Maitland Rd., McClure, went to walk with the Lord at 4:15 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2009, at Lewistown Hospital.
Born April 3, 1954, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Floyd H. "Cotton" Knepp and Fae (Goss) Knepp. She is survived by her husband, George T. "Tom" Fike, whom she married on July 14, 1973.
Children surviving: Corey T. Fike; Heith T. Fike; Kelly S. Blose and her husband Timothy; Zeke T. Fike and Seth T. Fike, all of McClure; grandchildren, Tayla and Lorilie Blose.
Brothers and sisters: Sheldon Knepp and his wife Jane of McClure; Rick Knepp and his wife Penny of Duncannon; Cindy Wilson of McClure, and Keith Knepp and his wife Kim of McClure.
She was a graduate of Penn Highlands High School Class of 1972.
Early in life, she was employed at the Arrow Shirt Factory and was last employed as a nurse's aide at the Ohesson Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of Samuel's Church in McClure.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Samuel's Church, 480 Samuel's Church Road, McClure, with the Rev. Clark Kelsey officiating. Interment will be in Samuel's Cemetery, McClure.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Avenue and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church.
