Rose Mary Arquette, 84 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Fountain View of Monroe.
Born Nov e m b e r 14, 1929 in Mo n r o e , Rose Mary was the daughter of the late Joshua "Jess" and Ethel Marie ( Ford) Knapp. Rose Mary was a 1947 graduate of Monroe High School.
On August 11, 1972 Rose Mary married her beloved husband John Arquette in Monroe. Sadly he preceded her in death on November 29, 1994.
Rose Mary worked for Joe's French Italian for 34 years from which she retired in 1972. Prior to her employment at Joe's Rose Mary worked in the jewelry department at Jacobson's.
Rose Mary was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Monroe and enjoyed shopping for jewelry and clothing.
Rose Mary is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3- 7 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI, 48161. On Thursday, June 5, 2014, she will lie in state at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 2420 N. Dixie Hwy., Monroe, MI 48162 from 9: 00 AM until Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life at 10:00 AM. Fr. Victor Roman, pastor of the church, will officiate. She will be interred next to her husband at St. Charles Cemetery in Newport.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Anne's Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
