Age 94, Omaha. Beloved Mother, Nana, Aunt and Friend. Preceded in death by husband, Jerry and son Kenneth Johnson. Survived by daughter Kay (Chuck) Ahern; daughter-in-law Mireille (Barry) Emmett of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Yvette (Chris) Malinowski of Dallas, TX, Steven (Brandi) Brown of Tallahassee, FL, Stephanie (Brian) Kielian; great-grandchildren Aline, Christopher and Terry Malinowski, Mia and Mica Kielian, Day and Ford Brown; nieces and nephews Gary (Sue) Knapp, Pam Knapp, Dianne (Kenton) White, Bob (Susie) Knapp. Born in Malvern IA, she attended business school in Council Bluffs then settled in Omaha, where she worked for Wray Scott Company and R. S. Stover. Dorothy had an infectious zest for life not often found. She left a lasting impression on all who met her, including the wonderful staff of Brookstone Meadows-Nemaha Wing. She cherished her Big Red Football, holiday decorating and the Green Onion Lounge, but most of all, she loved her family.
VISITATION Wednesday 6-8 pm at Crosby Colonial Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE Thursday 10:30 am at Crosby Colonial Chapel. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials to American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
