Mrs. Mike Frank Died Sunday In Hospital After Year's Illness

Mrs. Mike Frank of Remsen died Sunday in the Sacred Heart hospital after several years of illness.

Emma Klosterman was born March 14, 1894, at Petersburg, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Klosterman and came to this county with her parents when she was three years old. The remainder of her life was spent near Remsen.

On November 19, 1912, she was married at Remsen to Mike Frank, who survives with her and four sons and three daughters: Emory, Sioux City; Leander, at home; Lorraine (Mrs. Orville Steichen), Remsen; Rosemary (Mrs. Marvin Mai), Remsen; Richard, Madonna and James, at home. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Math Kneip of Sioux Falls, S.D., and three brothers, Clem in California, Charles, Elkton, S.D., and Andy of Sioux Falls. She also has four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in St. Mary's Catholic church, Remsen, at 9:30 am Wednesday with Msgr. M.A. Schemel officiating and burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed, Louis, Richard, Miles and Richard Klosterman and Frank Kneip.

Mrs. Frank was a member of the Christian Mothers society and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
