| Birth: | Nov. 14, 1920 | | Death: | Dec. 20, 2006 |  HAUBSTADT - Elenora C. "Nora" Brenner, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at Parkview Care Center in Evansville. She was born in Haubstadt on November 14, 1920, to the late William and Mary (Elpers) Klingler. She retired as a waitress from The Log Inn after 34 years. She was a lifetime member of St. James Catholic Church, The Altar Society, St. Bernadette Auxiliary No. 280 and VFW Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her family and her animals.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John "Joe" Brenner in 1990; and two sisters, Lorena Koch and Cecelia Feller.
Nora is survived by two daughters, Judy (Paul) Glaser of Haubstadt and Sharon (Ernie) Frasier of Evansville; three sons, Virgil (Joan) Brenner of Jacksonville, Fla., Harold (Carol) Brenner of Hudsonville, Mich., and Dennis (Brenda) Brenner of Haubstadt; one sister, Vera Fieth of Evansville; three brothers, Albert Klingler of Indianapolis, Vince Klingler of East Alton, Ill., and Gilbert Klingler of Evansville; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, one due to arrive in April 2007; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, with Rev. Kenneth Betz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Wade Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 7:45 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until Mass time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or VNA Hospice Care. The family would like to thank the staffs of Parkview Care Center and VNA Hospice Care. Published in the Courier Press on 12/22/2006.
