Mildred E. Baynor Klingensmith, 91, of Leechburg died at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 14, 2003) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison.

Born Jan. 9, 1912, in Ford City, she lived at her current address for the past 43 years.

She was a secretary 18 years for PPG Industries, Ford City, retiring in 1946.

Mrs. Klingensmith was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Parish, Leechburg.

She enjoyed reading and playing cards and bingo.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Glenn Parks Klingensmith, in 1994; her parents, Anthony and Mary Ortmertel Baynor; a brother, Anthony F. Baynor; and five sisters, Mary E. Baynor, Ann Fryer, Rose Koll, Helen Guthrie and Elizabeth Seibel.

Friends will be welcomed by her family from 8:30 a.m. Friday until 9:30 a.m., when parting prayers of transfer will be held at CLAWSON'S, Second at Main, Leechburg. Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, Leechburg. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
